I'm linking up at Monday Mural hosted by Oakland Daily Photo.
January 2014 - Marmol Mexico
One of the towns we stopped in a few weeks ago when following Paquis, the congresswoman from this area.
These are not in very good shape, the building is abandoned and appeared to have been some kind of public showers with a large water tower. My guess is they were part of the school which now is housed in new buildings in the same area.
They remind me of ghost signs.
ReplyDeleteI like the way they look so old. Adds to the charm!
ReplyDeleteI imagine one can find lots of images of the beloved Virgin of Guadalupe in Mexico. I always save this topic for Dec. 12, her saint's day. These have taken on a patina of age which is pretty cool. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
