Sepia Saturday July 12

Sepia Saturday

Today's theme is:
236 : Hair, drying, beauty, nails, strange headgear.

I hate posting photos of myself but thought for the sake of this week's topic I would post some of my various hair styles over the years.
I was of the generation that your mother thought she could cut your bangs for you. Well, you know what always happened they got shorter and shorter as she tried to even them out!

These photos span the 50s, 60s, and 70s!

  1. Had we been neighbors and friends, I would have envied your hair.

  2. Wow, what a fun collection of beautiful moments all throughout your life! In the winter photo, where you're a teenager, is that a house in the background? I do see playground equipment so many a school? I like it.

    1. Karen, it's a shame but I can't remember where that photo was taken.

  5. What an interesting variety of hairdos you had. I like the second photo - very glamorous and the one in the snow.

  9. I love the "outfit" under the tree, which the cat is checking out. Nice looking lady who I bet didn't just get out of bed looking that well combed!

  10. I know what you mean about posting photos of yourself - I am the same. But I always find such photos fascinating, especially those of people I seem to know so well through blogging over the years. They give a face to a person.

  11. I like the one in the snow. I can't see too much evidence of you having bangs however, which we would call a fringe here in Australia. With curly hair a fringe was something I could never have.

    1. OMG you just reminded me that we called it a fringe as kids because we were from Ireland.
