April 2014 - Driving from Myrtle Beach SC to Charlotte NC


I wasn't paying attention to these billboards at first, until I realized how many there were.


Glory Foods is located in Columbus Ohio and state that "Our fresh and canned products are perfectly picked and prepared for your family. Southern style food and ideas for every taste bud."

    Oh Glory Be! This made me smile. What an ad campaign -- you can't escape them! I grew up in northern Ohio, but don't remember this brand.

    Wow! That's a lot of billboards for canned food. Around here, it's normally restaurants or tourist attractions that get that much billboard attention.

    I bet most of those would have been South of the Border billboards had you been going in the other direction!

    Wow! They have their work cut out for them trying to sell people on items like canned collard greens and canned cabbage, so I guess you can't blame them for saturating the landscape! Loved seeing these photos!

    that is a lot of billboards. Being a New Englander I havne't heard of Glory products before....I'm surprised they are advertising southern food in Ohio.
