August 2026 - St. John's NL

In Newfoundland and Labrador, a tickle is a local term for a short, narrow strait or passage of water between islands or between an island and the mainland.

The name itself plays on the famous Canadian children's TV show prop from Mr. Dressup, combined with Newfoundland's geographic slang for a narrow water passage (a "tickle").

The "Need a Tickle" Connection: The shop heavily stocks products from The Dark Tickle Company, a well-known northern Newfoundland brand. If a sign or display there says you "need a tickle," it is a playful double entendre—inviting you to try their locally made wild berry jams, teas, or Newfoundland chocolate bars.

December 2014 - Las Vegas NV

Song is from A Star is Born (latest) which I thought was quite boring.

Bradley Cooper - Alibi
Don't ask me 'bout tomorrow
Or tell me about my past

My heart is yours to borrow
Ain't nothing meant to last

I ain't lyin'
I don't lie
Without an alibi

Don't ask too many questions

You don't want answers to
You don't like my direction

Hell, I won't follow you

I ain't lyin'
I don't lie
Without an alibi

I told my dyin' daddy
That I had to run away
Looked him in the eyes
Said, "there ain't no other way"
So woman, if I tell you that I love you, be ok

'Cause I ain't lyin'
I don't lie
Without an alibi

I love you in the morning
And when the day is done
But if you want my freedom
You know I'm bound to run

I ain't lyin'
I don't lie
Without an alibi

'Cause I ain't lyin'
I don't lie
Without an alibi

August 2026 - Toronto ON

I am intrigued by this place.
This door belongs to a private coffee omakase room linked to The Brick Room on Temperance Street. It features a Japanese-inspired "coffee omakase" experience named Ichigo Ichie (one time, one meeting). It operates on a reservation-only, single-course-at-a-time storytelling format with a strict zero-electronics policy.

(Ichigo Ichie – Meaning: Once in a lifetime encounter)

SOME DOORS AREN'T MEANT TO BE OPENED BY CHANCE
THIS ONE LISTENS BEFORE IT WELCOMES
INSIDE
THE AIR IS QUIET, THE LIGHT MOVES GENTLY.
AND WHAT'S PLACED IN FRONT OF YOU WAS CHOSEN—NOT SERVED
EVERY GLASS, EVERY TEMPERATURE, EVERY FLAVOUR,
MEANT JUST FOR THIS MOMENT, JUST THIS SEASON, JUST YOU.
ONCE MET, NEVER REPEATED.
WE DON'T TAKE WALK-INS.
NOT BECAUSE WE'RE EXCLUSIVE—BUT BECAUSE WE'RE PRESENT.
YOU WON'T FIND A MENU HERE.
JUST A STORY,
TOLD ONE COURSE AT A TIME.
WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT, YOU'LL BE INVITED IN.

July 2026 - Toronto ON

I took this photo last week on Queen St. W in Toronto.
I uploaded this photo to AI to find out more about it.

This was the response I got!!!

AI Overview

This calligraphic mural by artist Seb Lester features a quote from the 14th-century Persian poet Hafez.
The artwork, titled "I Wish," was created for the London Mural Festival.
Located in Holborn, London, it depicts stylized, vertical black lettering against a white brick wall.

I responded by saying "No, it is on Queen St. W in Toronto."

You are entirely right. This vertical calligraphic mural is the building signage for Absolutely Fabrics, a curated designer and vintage clothing boutique. Located at 613 Queen Street West in Toronto's Fashion District, the custom black typography serves as an artistic storefront sign painted onto the white brick wall right near the city's famous Graffiti Alley.
