Signs

Wordless Wednesday Wordless Be There 2day

Toronto ON

I've been collecting the social distancing signs/stickers around town during Covid. I thought I would start sharing them.

Bata Shoe Museum

Leon's a local furniture store

One Yonge St. Illusionarium magic show

A sign of these Covid times - stores going out of business.

And this sign was outside a bar on Front St. when they were finally able to open up during the summer. All the missed occasions over the last year.

  2. Businesses have had so many challenges! The ones that tried to support both staff and customers often did better, but sometimes even that wasn't enough.

  3. That last sign certainly made certain to cover all the bases! I can't think of anything much they've missed!
Thank you for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2021/12/the-blacksmiths-shop.html

  4. It is interesting to take photos of the Covid signs- they are so common right now but one day (hopefully soon) they will be a thing of the past. Love the snow on the chairs.

  5. The one here that stays with me is the one used all over the Nature Museum, with a moose head reminding you to stay two antlers apart.

    1. William, I would like to see a picture of the moose sign.

  6. For a while some stores had arrows on the floor directing people which way to go down isle. Which was pretty much ignored. Any how someone took them up.

  7. That is the only good "sign" of COVID, the distance. I hate strangers near to me.
Oh, but the sign of all the missed events is so sad.
Who ever thought this will happen and that no one seems to learn over time!

  8. These sign of the times signs are so fun to see. They are certainly clever and well done, too. I especially like the last sign because it covers everything we missed during 2020.

  9. I've seen those signs here too but I've never thought of taking photos of them, good idea.
