February 2015 - Sa Dec Vietnam
I am finally working my way through our photos from the Mekong River cruise we took in February.
For the highlights of our day in Sa Dec and Cai Be click here.
In the afternoon we took a sampan to the small town of Sa Dec where we had time to shop at a local souvenir market. There were so many lovely things to buy but as we are limited in our luggage I had to contain myself.
So much to choose from! What a lovely array of choices, too. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteThe art is quite lovely to the eyes.
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful colorful things! How were you able to resist them? I love the three-dimensional cards, as well as all the beautiful paintings. What souvenirs did you bring home?
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
What did you finally decide to bring home. A bookmark, or greeting card. I love the gorgeous bowls and plates. Now, if I could just master the use of chopsticks....!
ReplyDeleteSuch creative ideas. I especially like the bowls with the side holes. My snapshot Saturday
ReplyDeleteLuggage space is always the killer. I do like that painted red bowl, so pretty. I'd like to go to Vietnam one day, so many people go and really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go shopping there. So much to choose from.
ReplyDeleteWe brought home a three dimensional greeting card, that we can put up with our other shadow boxes.
ReplyDeletevery cool.
