I had heard about this bookshop Ben Mc Nally on Bay St. in the financial district and finally went to check it out. It took all of my self-control not to spend any money! I try to get my books from the library.
Who wouldn't want to spend hours in here?

I must have passed by the store at some point, but for whatever reason I didn't look inside. Quite lovely inside!

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous bookstore! I'm sure I would have succumbed and bought at least one book. You showed admirable self-restraint. I do wish there were more people in the store!

I was there on a Monday or Tuesday morning around 10:30 AM I think that is why it was so quiet.
DeleteOh, to have a beautiful bookstore to visit. The closest indie bookstore to me is 2.5 hours by car. I do try to get there once or twice a year. We have an awesome library, and a chain bookstore so I am not without resources. I would hate that!
