October 2013 - Toronto ON

Finding the perfect burger is hard work in a city the size of Toronto. We had been to Dangerous Dan's years ago (pre-always have a camera with us days).

The decor is eclectic, to say the least.

Some of the crazy items on the menu are:

The Coronary Burger Special
2 8oz Patties, 4 Slices of Bacon, 2 Slices of Cheddar and a Fried Egg on top. Served w/ Fries and Gravy, Can of Pop and Mayo as a garnish for sure!
Only  $ 15.25

Quadruple C"Collosal Colon Clogger Combo"
24oz burger served with a quarter pound of cheese, a quarter pound of bacon, and 2 fried eggs.  Also comes with a large shake and a small poutine.
Only  $ 24.45
The "McEwan"
10oz NY steak freshly ground into a hamburger patty, mixed with beer, shitake and oyster mushrooms, camembert and brie cheese and 4oz pan fried Lobster Tail drizzled with clarified butter. Comes with Hand-made fries and a large milk shake
Only  $ 38.95

We,however opted for ordinary burgers and a shared small poutine. The poutine was delicious as were the burgers. Our only complaint would be the buns, too bready.

  3. Love the burgers but do not like the poutine. Growing up in Ottawa they have been around forever with the French, just give me my fries with vinegar.

  4. The decor made me laugh -- as did the definition of "vegetarian." The burger looks yummy though.

  9. Sorry your burger was too bready, Jakckie.
Dangerous Dan sounds like my kind of place but I'll take the coronary -- without the egg.
Thanks for linking up this week, Jackie!
