August 2013 - Halifax Nova Scotia
We flew Air Canada on points and $170 for both of us.
We stayed at the Sheraton Four Points last Thursday. The hotel is part of an office complex near the harbour. Our room overlooked the courtyard which had murals painted to create an old-fashioned town.
A clever way to beautify a courtyard.
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative use of the space!
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful. So many nice details like the cat on the fence, etc.
ReplyDeleteI want to say this is adorable - but that word doesn't give it enough respect, I don't think!
ReplyDeleteLove the 3D effect with the cutouts and steps. I hope this courtyard gets used by the office workers.
This is such an intricate project. It's interesting that it is in juxtaposition to a modern highrise. I'm glad you took the time to document all of it and the wonderful details. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteThat is really wonderful! Lucky you to have seen it in person, I don't think I'd have been able to take my eyes away :)
