T for Tuesday

T Stands For is hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard

Toronto ON

The George R. Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art (commonly shortened to the Gardiner Museum) is a ceramics museum in Toronto. Click on Gardiner in the labels/tags below this post to see other exhibits.
These photos were taken at different times. I haven't been to the Gardiner since the pandemic, I will correct that in the new year.

  1. First, I forgot to mention earlier how much I like your chilling new blog banner!! Winter has truly arrived in your part of the world.

Second, I am in LOVE with these remarkable tea pots. Each is so very different, yet they are all so brilliantly created. Thanks for sharing each of these with us for T this not yet Tuesday, dear Jackie. BTW, I don't have a favorite. They are all truly stunning.

    1. The chairs are part of the King St. pilot which is now permanent. It is a pedestrian friendly street with priority to streetcars over cars. There are all kinds of different seating options.

  10. I can see by your header that it has snowed in Toronto. Brrrr!
The teapots are exquisite. I know that in days gone by, drinking tea was a very special thing as tea was so expensive that it was kept in a locked caddy.
I don't have a favorite but number three peeked my curiosity. It looks like an egg. I'm not sure how old it is as the trinkets hanging on the handle features a motorcar.
    Happy T-Day,
    Hugs,
    Lisca
