Scavenger Hunt Sunday - June 1

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

The rules are simple:

  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun

Make Mine a _____________ Make your selection!

Quirky - went to the Gardiner Museum this week. This was a ceramic piece called Cabbages and Kings

The Walrus and The Carpenter Lewis Carroll

(from Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There, 1872)

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

Morning Ritual - wander into living room and check out the traffic heading into the city and pleased I don't have to do that commute. This is 6:45 AM.

  1. It's amazing how many electronics that we tote around with us. One of our travel bags looks very much like this. Have a blessed week.
