Shelter

One Word Sunday

Everybody should be able to have a shelter to comfort and soothe them. Toronto has 10,000 people without a roof every night.

They set up tent cities around the city. The area underneath the Gardiner Expressway is a popular one. But city crews regularly will clear out this homeless encampment.

  2. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Both Oakland and San Francisco are full of tent cities. The sad thing is that the city of San Francisco spends about $400 million on services for the homeless and the problem is getting worse instead of better.
