Tlaquepaque may be a small town but it had two churches almost next to each other near the square.

Santuario de la Soledad (Sanctuary of Our Lady of Solitude)

Built in 1878, this neoclassic romantic byzantine-style sanctuary preserves an elegant and beautiful dome, consisting of two drums with 16 windows. In the interior are valuable oil paintings.
