  5. Okay so I'm reading all the ways to say "NO" in the different languages, and I see "BU SHI", and I'm thinking, does this say "no bull shit"? Then common sense came to me, but really do all those words say "no" in a different language and the picture gets across they mean climbing rocks?

  6. Once more my commentators got me!! I loved Pat's comment about BU SHI!! I hadn't noticed that LOL!! So I had to investigate and discovered that BU SHI is No in Chinese.

    I guess you really have to make it clear to people that it is really dangerous to go climbing rocks in Sedona. Only yesterday a local was telling me how many search and rescue missions are undertaken for stupid tourists who go hiking and climbing.

  7. Reminds me of a much less helpful sign I came across a few years ago while hiking in the German alps that read: "Herzogsteig nicht begehbar. " The only word I could understand was "nicht". But I turned around anyway. :-)
