31 Days in Canada

In honour of CANADA DAY  I plan to post a daily image of Canada and a link to a random Canadian location we have visited.

Victoria BC - random post

British Columbia is a province of wild geographic extremes, home to Canada's mildest weather, tallest trees, and largest mountains. Covering 10% of Canada's landmass, it features the world's longest unsupported cable car, the highest waterfall, and the only grizzly bear sanctuary in the country.

Record High: Lytton, BC, holds the record for the highest temperature ever recorded in Canada at a blistering 49.6°C (set on June 29, 2021).

The Wettest City: Prince Rupert on the central coast is Canada's wettest city, getting around 2,593 mm of rain annually across roughly 239 rainy days.

Extreme Coastline: BC's rugged, fjord-carved coastline spans more than 27,000 km and is dotted with about 6,000 island.
