Monday Mural

I'm linking up at Monday Mural hosted by Oakland Daily Photo.

August 2017 - Toronto ON

This one has been on my agenda for a while so we took advantage of an appointment in the area to walk down Yonge to St. Clair to find it.
You can read the whole story of how this was created by clicking here.

It was hard to photograph as it is high on the side and the trees were in bloom.
John went to the medium in the middle of St. Clair and got this shot.

Phlegm is an anonymous illustrator based in Sheffield, an English steel town, who earned an international following with his quirky comics.

The image itself is Phlegm’s creation, but it wasn’t designed in isolation. He proposed the idea of creating a human body out of iconic Toronto landmarks—the CN Tower, old city hall, St. Lawrence Market, the ROM—to represent the city as a vibrant, living ecosystem. Then, after consultations with local residents, he also integrated their suggestions, such as ravines and certain buildings.
