Weekend Cooking
Beth hosts Weekend Cooking where you can post anything food related.
November 2010 - Istanbul Turkey
We stop for a glass of tea atop Büyük Çamlıca, the highest point in the city. Istanbul sprawls further than the eye can see.
From the terrace you can see the minaret-filled skyline of Old İstanbul, as well as the Bosphorus winding its way to the Black Sea.

How stunning. Everything is so gorgeous and over the top I'm not sure I'd know where to look! The windows in the restaurant are especially beautiful. I imagine they play lots of tricks on the light.
ReplyDeleteI love this! So enjoy your interesting food pictures from your travels. Is that coffee or tea? Looks more like tea. And the little cakes? What are they? I know, questions, questions. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYes, Kay, that is tea. And the cookies are cardamon and almond tea cookies.
DeleteBeautiful! I bet the food was as wonderful as the view!
ReplyDeleteLove the windows in that coffee house. Cheers from Carole's Chatter!
