From our hotel window. It would scare the bejebbers out of me if I had to climb down this staircase in an emergency.
HMMM as I write this I realize I made the same comment about stairs in another post.
Growing up in Montreal we had a circular staircase like this outside the back door. I HATED going down those stairs as I could see through them.
I can see that being unnerving for a lot of people if it was ever needed in a fire.
