inSPIREd Sunday

February 2013 - Concordia, Mexico

Concordia is home to the enchanting San Sebastian Church which was founded in the late 1500's making it the oldest in the state of Sinaloa.

  1. thank you for linking up with us at Inspired Sunday ... that is just amazing. i can not imagine the time & efforts it took to make this masterpiece. ( :

    have a wonderful day.

  2. Love seeing all the detail work in the stone.

  3. You can just imagine how this church must have been the center of the community for both secular and sacred activities. Seems to follow the traditions of building these grand cathedrals to remind the people of the power and authority of the church.

Or maybe I'm just thinking along those lines after reading Ken Follett's "Pillars of the Earth" and watching the mini series. :-)

  4. When you think of the time and love that went into carving all of those details, it is inspiring indeed.

Thank you for sharing this last week.
