T for Tuesday

T Stands For is hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard

August 2020 - Toronto ON

It seems I am a little T obsessed since joining this challenge! As I walked along a new-to-me (on foot) section of Bloor St. West I found several tea shops.

  3. Oh Jackie, I love these tea houses. The funniest and most clever was THIRSTEA. I'm just thrilled you have joined us again and am sorry I was unable to join you last week because my internet was offline for nine days. Thank you SO much for sharing these fun tea houses with us for T this Tuesday. There are no tea houses in Wichita anymore. When I first started this venture there were two, then one, now none. Glad to see you (the collective you) have lots of choices in Toronto.

  13. Oh wow! That many tea shops! And I love the quirky names. One of them sells bubble tea (popular in Taiwan according to my Postcrossing friends) and I spotted Korean tea shop too. How fascinating. And of course perfect for T-Day.
I live near Granada in Spain, and in Granada old city there is a street full of tea shops. It's a very old, narrow (pedestrianized) street, and nowadays a bit touristy too. But fun nevertheless.
I'm sorry I'm late in commenting. My laptop has decided it does no longer wants to use Chrome or Internet Explorer and I have not been able to comment. I have an iPhone but I've tried commenting before and most comments don't arrive. So I am looking for someone to do me a blog on Wordpress (the free version). If you know of anyone who could do that for me and is reasonably priced, please let me know. I have tried myself but I have not succeeded.
    Happy belated T-Day,
    Hugs,
    Lisca

  14. Wow, you've got a good eye for spotting tea places. Now you have me wondering if there are any around where I live. (I think we mostly have coffee places, like Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.) Happy Belated T-Day!

  15. These are great little shops. Wish we had something other than Starbucks here! I guess on the other side of town there is a place called The Bean Scene, but other than that, I don't know of any! Happy Day!

  16. What a lot of tea shops you found - in our town it is mainly chains of snack foods or coffee which considering England is famed for being a nation of tea drinkers is strange! That said I am not a tea drinker - it makes me ill! Belated Happy T day, Chrisx
