  1. My partner used to drink cafe latte but now drinks a flat white. I don't actually know what a flat white is? I think only in Australia do we ask for a long black coffee, which is my usual choice although sometimes a double espresso. Our coffee is nothing like we found in the US or even Canada, but I expect our style is available in both countries if you look for it.

  2. That last sign makes me laugh! I've never had a flat white and don't know what it is, but if it is coffee I'm sure I would like it. :) We had a Winchell's Donuts a block from our house in Dallas, TX. I loved their bear claws. Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. I love Winchell's donuts! I lived in Arizona (80's-90's) for about 14 years, it's where I was introduced to Winchell's. I've not had or seen one for many years. Here in New England, it's Dunkin! Have a nice weekend, Jackie.

  5. This was very interesting, Jackie. We were in Australia about on our cruise and afterwards. But this is the first I've known of white coffee. I will check here in Houston, first will be The British Store (I have doubts as we never saw it in the British Isles) and also with our World Market stores. We MUST HAVE some to try.
Coffee shops are beginning here, they also serve light food and sandwiches.
We have the Keurig and a Nespresso machines so I suppose we could order it for one of these.
