Tom hosts Tuesday's Treasures.
January 2016 - San Miguel de Allende Mexico
We went to the Tuesday Market last week. In addition to everything they sell there were also dealers selling "antiques". Those license plates would come in handy. Many gringos who drive down here put on "old" plates as the police will remove the license plates from an illegally parked vehicle. This means getting them back from the police.
Later in the week we came upon this antique shop. There was a worker sitting on the sidewalk sanding and mending these amazing doors which I am guessing came from a church.
And what about these beauties!! Same place, different day.

Real craftsmanship, first the manufactoring and now the restoration of these beautiful doors and the unique woodcraft of the last photo.
