Do Better????

 Dear MAGA Ding Dongs,


Telling Canada to "do better" because wildfire smoke ruined your beach day is beyond ridiculous.
Our forests are on fire.
People are being evacuated.
Firefighters are risking their lives.
Families are losing their homes.
But yes... tell us more about how you couldn't tan for a few hours.
Also, quick science lesson: smoke doesn't stop at the border. It just goes wherever the wind takes it.
So unless you've figured out how to switch off thousands of wildfires with a giant garden hose, maybe dial back the entitlement.
We're not exporting smoke.
We're trying to survive a disaster.
If you don’t accept this answer, perhaps when you send your next hurricane up the eastern seaboard, you can tell us who to lodge our complaint with that you didn’t stop it? Surely you have experienced enough of them by now that FEMA or your Weather Agency can intervene and stop blowing our Maritime provinces around?
Or the next time Mount St. Helen’s erupts, surely you can turn on your Washington-state-sizes air purifier so the ashes don’t float across the border?
Or if and when there is another earthquake state-side, you can ensure that the shaking stops at the 49th parallel, so we aren’t inconvenienced as your buildings fall down?
If those things aren’t going to be possible, and frankly given the dumpster fire your president’s administration has become and the stench that wafts north from every word he says perhaps this idea is the best one, you would be interested in building a wall that is high enough that we can contain all the smoke in Canada. You can pay for all 5525 miles (8891) of it.
I’m not sure Canadians would be all that bothered by having a wall at this point, if you can’t demonstrate you are going to choose sane leadership.
This is, of course, the only logical response given your decision to flat out ignore climate change warnings which, for the last three decades have very clearly spelled out that wildfires would increase in severity if global warming wasn’t curbed.
Well guess what? Those fires are here. No big surprise. Why are you complaining when you knew they were coming?
Lastly, Canadians have joined American fire fighters countless times when California and other states turn ablaze. We just lost a helicopter pilot who died fighting one of your wildfires. We’re pretty certain your wildfire smoke blows across the border frequently and we weren’t going to say anything but since you brought it up, do you mind coming and collecting your smoke back?
You really can be a nuisance you know. But thought and prayers for your canceled MAGA reunion pool parties.
