Architecture

  September 2020 - Toronto ON

Rain's Garden's challenge is ARCHITECTURE.

My second time participating and the challenge is Architecture.

I'm not an artist, but I love playing with software. I took a photo from our trip to Europe last year.

Château de Chenonceau Loire Valley France

Converted this using PicMonkey.

I used a new to me editing program Instapainting here. Filter Flower Market

PhotoFunia is a favourite of mine. I thought this was fun to include.

Also from PhotoFunia, I couldn't resist.

  1. You are a woman after my heart. I too love to play with photos digitally. I also make attempts at art, but digital art is my best option :) These were great choices for "Architecture" and I love your choices for modifying. And, I learned about a new free (I hope) editing program. Enjoyed my visit, Jackie. Hope you are well and doing all you can to stay safe ...

  3. I'd love to be able to do what you do. I have an old version of PhotoShop and can't do much more than crop and add my watermark (grin). You are a genius.

  4. Chenonceau has always been a favorite of ours -- so etherial! I love the fact that during World War II it was an escape route because it spans a river that bounded the edge of Nazi territory. And you could go through the castle and be out of their clutches -- sort of.

  6. Hi Jackie :)) I love your pieces this week! I visited that Chateau when I visited France many moons ago, along with others, they are brilliant and I love how you had fun with the softwares! I'm going to check out Instapainting! :)

  7. Jackie,

Great photo-edits! I love to use Pixelmator Pro for photo play and lately I've used my iPad app Brushstrokes to reinvent photo into painting-like images. It's a very cool program! In recent months I've play around with PhotoFunia and I think in last week's Friday Sillies I shared one of my image creations. :) Have a phototastic day!
