Quandongs! Very few Australians will have tasted a quandong but those who have it will probably be quandong jam (jelly).
I googled what quandong might taste like - A sweet taste with a balancing slightly sour and salty aftertaste and a mild aroma of dry lentils with some earthy fermented touches.
...Mrs Q is a strange name!...QUANDONG is new for me....a QUARTER doesn't buy much these days!!!Thanks Jackie for stopping by.
Now that's a different name for a Shiraz. Not sure what quandong is, but wouldn't be opposed to giving it a try. Happy Sunday!
