T for Tuesday I FORGOT!

T Stands For is hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard

Toronto ON

I have featured Jimmy's Coffee shops on several locations for various memes but thought it would be a good addition to T for Tuesday.

JIMMY'S AT GERRARD, including the back story to the name Jimmy's.

JIMMY'S - OSSINGTON AVE.

Can you believe I forgot to include this famous Jimmy from the Ossington location????

This Jimmy's is in Kensington Market, a fun place to visit. Click on the label/tag below this post to see more Kensington Market sights.

Makes my grammar heart happy as one of my  many  irritations is misuse of LOOSE VS LOSE!!!!

I got quite a chuckle out of this, but not sure if everyone would.

  1. I am not sure what is difficult about lose and loose with such different meanings. I love the nuanced tea offer.

  4. Nice collection of murals. It's so easy to be hung up on other people's spelling and grammar mistakes, and then to become peevish about it, but I agree with you, carelessness or ignorance can really be annoying. You are lucky that you aren't locked down.

  14. I always LOVE it when you take us to one of Jimmy's locations. This mural is absolutely incredible, but the ones insid you shared are great, too. So many Jimmies, so little time. I think your British Tea Translator is "spot on."

  16. Another lovely mural. Of course of all the Jimmies, he is a legend (although he spelt his name Jimi).
Yes, I also get annoyed when people misspell things. I try not to be too pedantic about it. But English is my second language, but I am a better speller than my husband, who is British.
Yes, I did get the tea translation. I actually practice it. When situations threaten to get out of hand, I will announce that I'm going to put the kettle on etc. Or when there is an embarrassing silence, I will ask if anyone wants some more tea... It's a shame the Spanish don't drink tea!
    Happy (belated) T-Day,
    Lisca
