T for Tuesday

T Stands For is hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard

October 2020 - Toronto ON

I thought I'd share some of my T moments at home.

I don't always have coffee in the afternoon but if I do this is often my spot with a book.

Taken  August 2020 after the shutters were removed but the frames were not yet painted.

Taken November 2019 before shutters removed.

We went on a kick of buying coffee mugs for a while when we went on driving trips.

For my morning coffee I alternate between this from Disney.

And this one.

Sometimes I use them as planters.

Gift from my BFF.

  7. What a great collection! And lovely that you use them for plants too!
I shed my collection a while back, downsizing as I did. But I fondly recall a dear friend, now RIP, who every time she got a new friend in her life would have a ceremony and assign a special mug on her kitchen wall with a label and say my door is now open to you any time. She had well over 50 mugs at the end.

  9. What a fun mug collection. I lOVE the grumpy mug and the white one with the city scape. I never thought to use them as planters but that is such a great idea. I am always in need of more pots.
    Happy Tea Day,
    Kate

  11. How many stories up is your apartment. The view must be great, so I understand why you like to sit in the window with afternoon coffee occasionally or read. And that's a great way to remember a trip by collecting mugs. And smart to put plants into them. Hope it was a super T day. Hugs-Erika

  12. Last night before I was going to leave a message, I got up to get coffee. When I did, I must have hit my computer screen because when I got back, my screen was black. I even rebooted and tried the little lights that adjust the screen. I was sick about it, but waited until today when I could see better what was going on. I finally found I had accidentally unplugged one of the cords that hooks the screen to the hard drive box. I am so glad I didn't need a new computer screen.

You have a beautiful spot to drink your morning coffee, shutters or not. Is that a real cat on the bench?

LOVE your coffee mug collection. I collected a few mugs on my trips in the states, but they pale in comparison to your incredible collection. Thanks for sharing your amazing collection of mugs and the place you often have your morning coffee with us for T this Tuesday. Sorry again I'm running late.

  13. Wow, what a mug collection! My husband makes me get rid of mugs about once a year, because I think the multiply in the cupboard. LOL
We don't even buy them; most are gifts or free. Like, when I went to my new dentist, he gave me one! When we visited our new church, they gave each of us one! You have some really nice ones. I wondered if the one with the biscuits and the one with the rocking chair were by any chance from Cracker Barrell? Thanks for the great Tea Day post. Happy T Day!

  15. Wow, you have a wonderful mug collection! And what lovely views from your reading spot.

I have a question. It seems some t-partiers can't leave comments on my blog. Are you having problems?

Happy T-Day. Stay safe and well. Eileen

  16. Wow, you have a great view! You must be quite high up. That would scare me though. (I don't like elevators)
Your mugs are beautiful. I must say you have good taste and they are all really lovely. A great collection with memories attached. Good idea. (I'm afraid I buy bog standard fridge magnets as souvenirs).
    Sorry for the late comment,
    Have a good week,
    Hugs,
    Lisca
