December 2016 - Kissimmee FL
Since 1986, Old Town in Kissimmee has been entertaining locals and visitors alike with its signature brand of good eats, great shopping, family entertainment and famous car cruises. It's a nostalgic place for many, with a retro vibe reminiscent of the 50s and 60s.
We stayed immediately across the street from Old Town and took a couple of walks. It was an overcast day so these photos look a little dull. We have gone back several times so these photos are a composite of several visits!
There was construction taking place down the main street which was disappointing as it detracted from the ambiance.
On Friday nights, all-American muscle cars hit the streets in a showcase of show-quality automobiles. Don't expect to see any new rides hitting the streets, as this showcase of speed is for cars made before 1988.
While the attractions at Old Town have changed over the years, the fun hasn't. You'll find a wide range of entertainment options.
