Toronto ON
Came across this on a Facebook page "Halton County Radial Railway" that we visited last fall, click here. From 1973.
Our latest streetcars.
WE ARE TRAVLLING UNTIL DEC 22, I WILL LINK UP IF POSSIBLE. BUT I EXPECT LIMITED INTERNET/WI-FI. As I am away, and will have limited wi-fi...
I remember your tiny mention of the railway museum, haha. It is odd that Toronto has never embraced pantograph trams and continues to use poles to connect to the wires, but I have heard something may happen in that area in the not too distant future.
ReplyDeleteThose streetcars have changed a bit over the years and have gotten far more colorful.
ReplyDelete...Rochester had street cars, but they were before my time. South of us in Hornell, NY Alstom has a facility that refurbishes NYC subway car. Thanks Jackie for joining the party, take care.
ReplyDeleteLong before my time we had streetcars.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a working streetcar in years.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun video!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your link at My Corner of the World this week!
