Now I know why Starbuck's coffee is so strong. 2 T ground coffee to 6 oz water. My grinder has different settings, but I always use the finest grind. I guess I think I'm getting espresso. I love the First things first sign! Thanks for sharing these fun signs with us for T this Tuesday, dear Jackie.
The Starbucks coffee seems the right strength to me, just burned. I think it's their roasting I have a problem with. I always choose tea there instead of coffee, but I've only been to a Starbucks 3 or 4 times. I'd go to the place that offers free coffee with breakfast instead ;) Happy T Tuesday!
Fun coffee signs. I would love anywhere in Toronto but especially where there is coffee (the free sounds good IF the coffee is good). Thanks for sharing and happy T-Day, Jackie.
An interesting assortment of coffee shops. I'd try all but Starbucks - theirs always tastes burnt to me. Thanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2021/08/a-few-from-archives.html

ReplyDeleteI don't like Starbucks coffee either, too strong. I do like their others like a flat white or cappuccino.
DeleteOOh I like a flat white and cappuccino too I do prefer Costa to Starbucks though
ReplyDeleteHave a flattastic week Jackie ☕-

I do like coffee, so these signs attract me. Coffee is a perfect theme for your series of signs.

...not being a coffee drinker all of this is way over my head. Which is your favorite? The free cap makes sense for me.
