I'm linking up at Monday Mural
April 2021 - Toronto ON
This was an unplanned stop on a mural hunt and replaces a Covid mural from last summer.
MURAL UPDATE
Last year Emily May Rose painted this mural depicting people in lockdown (still are!) during the pandemic.
Love the new banner again.
ReplyDeleteBut can´r believe that last shot was from last summer and we´re still stuck.
I like the "face".
...I love the graffiti style.
ReplyDeleteThey have replaced the Emily May Rose mural? I really liked it.
ReplyDeleteI agree they should have left the Emily May Rose mural!
DeleteBeautiful and colorful murals! Thanks for capturing them so well.
ReplyDeleteThe new mural looks like it's going to break out on Celtic knots! I love how the raccoons create a narrative thread in the old mural.
ReplyDeleteGood take on the first, Katherine. Emily May Rose always has raccoons on her murals around town.
DeleteThe murals are beautifully done and a beautiful sight to see.
ReplyDeleteSure a fun looking mural
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
The long down mural's gone too soon, no?
ReplyDeleteI like it. It looks interesting. Good you have a picture of it.
The new one's trying to add some color to these dark days, I guess.
Stay safe. :)
I especially like the last one. Possibly because two of the windows has a cat. They are all great, though and show what lockdown looked like a year ago.
ReplyDeleteThe face is eye-catching.
ReplyDeleteRather eclectic.
ReplyDeleteI spotted a cat in graffiti one, but the last one portraying people in lockdown is quite good.
ReplyDeleteLove the new banner photo :)
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Jackie.
