Weekend Cooking

Weekend Cooking hosted by www.BethFishReads.com

Beth hosts Weekend Cooking where you can post anything food related.

The first Monday in August is a holiday here in Ontario and some of the other provinces.
It threatened to rain all day and everywhere around us got totally dumped on but we didn't.

We sauntered out around noon to have a decadent lunch of hot dogs and poutine by Lake Ontario, wondering all the time whether it was going to rain on us.
We each had a hot dog and shared a poutine which was pretty good. It's all about the curds!

  4. I'm not a gravy fan, so poutine is not for me! Looks like I'd be in the minority there!

  5. I've never had poutine - another gap in my culinary education! Cheers from Carole's Chatter

  6. I've got to try poutine one day. I checked out your other poutine links- I had no idea Gordon Ramsay had 3 restaurants in Las Vegas- actually I didn't know that he had one there. His duck confit poutine looks fantastic.
