Day 32 St.Martins NB to Edmundston NB

October 5 2022 - St. Martins NB to Edmundston NB

We decided to go back to the Bay of Fundy this morning to see the tide in. We thought we would avoid the tour buses, but no, two pulled in while we were there.

On our way.

We drove into St. John thinking to spend a few hours, but there are two cruise ships in town and it is crazy so we go on.

Thinking we needed a break, we happened upon King's Landing signs just as there was a commercial on the radio stating this weekend was their last of the season.

We pay the entrance fee $20 each. The weather is absolutely perfect 20C.

Kings Landing takes aim at how history is told and pushes the boundaries of open-air museums. Situated along the Wolastoq (St. John River), this 300-acre museum is home to over 70,000 artefacts and a 19th-century village full of costumed characters, farm animals and 70 historic buildings.

Woodstock was the first incorporated town in New Brunswick on May 1, 1856.

Checked in at the Quality Inn and Conference Centre at the Grey Rocks Casino.
