Day 6 Charlottetown PEI

John set out to play golf.
I set out to wander around town. I went to the Art Gallery, free with a suggested donation of $5.

As soon as I stepped into the art gallery it started pouring. I texted John and he said he had started out golfing in the rain but now the sun was shining. PEI is the epitome of the saying "if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes".

I discovered the "underground" to the mall. Bought myself a lobster trap charm for my bracelet. John then messaged asking if I had had lunch, no, so I waited for him. We went to Mavor's in the Art Centre for a delightful lunch.

Finished our scavenger hunt and went back to the hotel to relax. John had a loooong nap.

Dinner at Gahan's, another great meal. Really you can not have a bad meal in this town.

Salmon and fish and chips. My salmon was delicious but the presentation was not pretty with garlic mashed potatoes that looked a little grey served along with yellow beets.

  1. The gallery is one part of Charlottetown I've never been in, but I'll have to check it out.
