San Miguel de Allende, a colonial-era city in Mexico’s central highlands, is known for its baroque Spanish architecture, thriving arts scene and cultural festivals.

In the city’s historic, cobblestoned center lies the neo-Gothic church Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, whose dramatic pink towers rise above the main plaza, El Jardín. It is said to be the most photographed church in Mexico. I know that we take photos of it everytime we are near it and even from afar as it can be seen for miles.
In other places in Mexico the main square is called the zócalo but here it is always referred to as the Jardín(pronounced har-DEEN), the Spanish word for garden.
It's shadow stretches to the Jardin. Great shot, John!!!
It's about time we went inside. The first time Mass was being said and they had strict signs about no photos during services.
