Breakfast at the hotel and time at leisure in the morning to take a last walk to re-visit a local market in Hoi An. At the time scheduled with your guide, you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the airport in Danang for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be greeted by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to discover Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city and economic capital of Vietnam. 

Dinner is free and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (Breakfast)

No, we didn't have the morning to re-visit anything or have lunch. We were on the bus by 9.

We made a couple of interesting quick stops in Denang, known as the Miami of Vietnam

or even "Miami of Asia" due to its stunning white-sand beaches, clear blue waters, vibrant beach promenade, affordable luxury, modern high-rises, lively beach clubs, surfing, and general tropical vibe, attracting digital nomads and travelers seeking a similar feel to Miami but at a fraction of the cost, with spots like My Khe and Bac My An Beach being popular for relaxation, swimming, and water sports.

The Dragon Bridge is the most unique bridge in Vietnam, providing the shortest route connecting Da Nang International Airport to the city’s main streets. Not only does it serve as a crucial transportation route for the city, but the Dragon Bridge, with its design resembling a dragon from the Ly Dynasty reaching out to the sea, is one of the most iconic architectural structures of Da Nang.

The dragon’s tail is stylized to resemble a blooming lotus flower, a traditional flower associated with peaceful rural life in Vietnam. The dragon’s body curves toward the sea, symbolizing Da Nang’s aspiration for integration with friends around the world. Regarding durability, the bridge is coated with five layers of anti-corrosion paint to protect it from weather elements and give it a stunning golden color. The most special feature of Dragon Bridge is its ability to breathe water and fire. According to the design, the dragon on the bridge can breathe fire for two minutes and then breathe water for three minutes, making the bridge an impressive, iconic and attractive highlight of Da Nang city.

We met our guide Jason who escorted us to Bus #2 for the 50 minute drive to the Paragon Hotel.

He had the bellhops bring the luggage up from the bus (steep stairs) and gathered the group to hand out the room keys. 

Hotel is in a decent spot, although not as good as when we were here in 2015.

Room 101 - makes me laugh.

These systems make so much sense, Housekeeping can tell what rooms are available for cleaning without having to check each door for do not disturb signs.

We were hungry as we didn't have any lunch. Immediately out the hotel door was a Spanish tapas place which became our go-to.

I did not like their frittata.

We just did a quick walk around and I began to fade. We went back to the hotel and I immediately fell asleep until around 9 and figured we should get something to eat.

We thought the hotel would be the perfect place for a quick bite. We were seated when the hostess announced that it would take an hour for our food to be served, making it 10, although they close at 10. We stomped off and went next store again! Patatas bravas and chicken!
