Lock

Dutch Goes the Photo Challenge

Toronto ON

I showed Parisian love locks last week for the OVERHEAD challenge.

Toronto has its share of love locks. The Humber Bay bridge is next to us and the city regularly cuts off the locks.

The Distillery District encourages (for a price) love locks.

The pedestrian-only Distillery District, set in quaint 19th century buildings that once housed a large whiskey distillery, draws crowds to its cobblestone streets lined with hip indie restaurants, bars and boutiques. Art lovers come for the galleries, outdoor sculptures and dance, music and stage performances at the area's several theatres.

Click on the label/tag below this post to see many more photos of the district.

  2. At least this feels somewhat more fitting.

  3. Much more sensible than putting them on bridges.

  4. Better than bridges for sure. I guess they ytake them down when it's full and make the other art works. Lots of locks Jackie :)

  5. Yup, and then sell more locks for $10 each!
