Letter H

December 2016 - St. Augustine FL

In Classical Greek mythology, Hippolyta was the Amazonian queen who possessed a magical girdle that was given to her by her father, Ares, the god of war. The girdle was a waist belt that signified her authority as queen of the Amazons.

  2. ...Jackie, thanks for the lesson about Hippolyta, I'm a bit weak on Greek mythology! Mariachi music must be popular in your present neck of the woods. Talk about a colorful house. Thanks for sharing, please stop again.

  5. I would very much like a magical girdle that would remove 30 lb or so every time I put it on. :)
I love that colourful house - that's the kind of place my artistic side would love to live! Colours make me happy!
