RIP Leonard Cohen.
We've had the pleasure of seeing him twice in 2008 and 2009, in London ON and Toronto.
One of my favourite songs (other than the ones that have been playing all week on Facebook), First We Take Manhattan.
"First We Take Manhattan" is a dark synth-pop song written by Leonard Cohen. It was first recorded by Jennifer Warnes in 1986 and later released by Cohen on his 1988 album I'm Your Man. Cohen described it as a "terrorist song," exploring the uncompromising, single-minded focus of extremism rather than endorsing physical violence.

It was a shock to hear of his death- though the signs were there in articles about the last album.
