Saturday Snapshot

Saturday Snapshots is hoted by Alyce at At Home With Books.
To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

Today's photos were taken on Canyon Road in Santa Fe New Mexico. The town attracts many artists as the natural lighting is just amazing. I don't wear contacts but my husband does and he said he could see easily without sunglasses which I gather is rare when you have contacts in...
According to the Canyon Road Arts web site:
Santa Fe is the second largest art market in the nation, and has more art galleries than any other city of its size. Santa Fe galleries offer a wide range including Native American art, early 20th century art by members of New Mexico's famous art colonies, traditional representational art, and contemporary and abstract art.

  1. I so love Santa Fe, and have seen some of the loveliest art ever there. These shots were great.

  2. What beautiful pics! Love all of them.... amazing!

  3. I love Santa Fe, too, but haven't been there in years. One of the stops on my bucket list!

    Thanks for sharing.

  4. Great photos! I love roaming the streets of Santa Fe.

  5. What a wonderful way to display art. Some of those sculptures look so real!

  6. What a feast for the eyes! That one with the lady sunken in the ground is a little freaky (but then art pieces like that always affect me that way). :) Great photos!

  7. Some beautiful, some whimsical. Thanks for the armchair travel to Santa Fe. I loved it!
