The January 2026 North American Blizzard, unofficially named Winter Storm Fern by The Weather Channel, is a major developing winter storm expected to affect roughly 220 million people across regions stretching from Mexico and Texas to northeastern Maine and into Canada. It is over 2,000 mi (3,200 km) in length.

Winter PANIC In America 2026!

As of late on January 24, at least 4 fatalities had been confirmed due to the storm. Over 135,000 have been confirmed to have lost power, the majority in the central United States.
