The view as we headed to our included breakfast at the Quality Inn, awful! That is breakfast awful, powdered eggs, no fruit or yogurt.

It was all doom and gloom on the TV, schools and businesses closed, shortages of bread, eggs and milk. Warnings to stay off the road.

It seemed that everyone heeded the directive to stay off the roads. for most of the drive there were a few travellers and transports.

There were plenty of salting being done in Tennessee. It was just slow, careful driving with mainly one lane clear.

No stopping today! We had stopped there in April 2013.

Getting gas. We decided to eat lunch as we drove, we had cheese and crackers.

Nobody on the highways around Memphis!

We're heading towards Little Rock. We stayed here in December 2014.

We are 50 minutes away from our hotel and we are stuck. The state troopers and tow trucks were very busy with transports in the ditch. It was only a few minutes and we were on our way.

Another stoppage! The GPS says "make a rescue lane".

This time it was ice on the road!!

Being home to three prominent universities – the University of Central Arkansas, Hendrix College, and Central Baptist College – Conway has earned the title, “City of Colleges,” and has also become one of the fastest-growing cities in Arkansas.
