September 2014 - Toronto ON
I went to the Roncesvalles Polish Festival last Sunday, it is North America's largest Polish celebration.
Street fairs are so much fun and because Toronto is so multicultural we have many.
For food photos from the festival click here and some other photos here.
I like the traditional clothing!
ReplyDeleteThe busker doing the windup doll routine... if I'm not mistaken, that might be Kate Mior; she does that as one of her acts.
Thanks, William! I googled her and do believe it is Kate Mior.
DeleteWhat a fun festival! I love the traditional costumes. We learnt some polish dances in school such as mazurka. Great photos :)
ReplyDeleteHow colorful all of these photos are! I especially love the brightly colored outfits and those shoes! Thanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of a fun day! Love seeing the young people in traditional dress!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun looking event. My favorite photos are the close-ups of the hats, skirts, and boots. Good job. Snapshot Saturday
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. My favorites were the colorful costumes festooned in rows of ribbons. Gorgeous! Looks like there was plenty to do and see and you had a great time.
