Our World Tuesday

Our World Tuesday

July 2014 - Toronto ON

I am truly posting our world today. Last Saturday we were heading downtown on the streetcar to an outdoor art festival. As we got off at University we saw that the street was closed for a parade. Intrigued, we stopped to watch.

We were lucky that we were at the termination point for the parade so we were able to get photos and move around a lot. Between John and myself we took 400 photos!

It was the 97th International Lions' Club convention being hosted in Toronto.
There were participants from around the world.

Crossing University is Queen St. where the 501 streetcar runs. This meant that the parade was stopped each time a streetcar came across University. The two policemen in their shorts controlled the flow of pedestrians and streetcars.

We are so lucky to live in such a vibrant and diverse city!!
