As today is Remembrance Day (Veterans' Day in the US) it is fitting to post some blue photos from our trip to France last August to visit the beaches of Normandy and the graveyards where so many soldiers were buried.
Wonderful post ~ great tribute and excellent photos ~ HBM ~ carol, xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie,
ReplyDeleteThe blues are plentiful, and I thank you for remembering Veteran's Day.
Happy Blue Monday!
A very touching post with a colorful array of blues Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't make it out to Normandy, although many said we should. I would enjoy mapping up maps and history with the current landscape. A great way to honor Veterans Day -- thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat post Jackie, and perfectly timed. It's a fascinating area to visit.
ReplyDeleteAll those splashes of blue are heavenly!

Ha, I was trying to figure out what a blue photo was. Now I see you are talking about the color blue. So much history, so much sadness to think of the young men who died here.
