Driving to Disney - Day 2

Day 2 - Driving time = 5.5 hours (gas, Michael's, traffic jam, bathroom break, lunch,, gas) 333 miles or 536km

I forgot to mention yesterday that we had deliberately planned not to spend more than 5 or 6 hours on the road. 

We left Cranberry Township in Pennsylvania at 9:30 after our free hot breakfast. 
There was frost on the pumpkin as the temperature was -1C or 30F but the sun was shining.

We made a stop for gas and then into Michael's as I needed to find some more purple thread for my embroidery. No luck.

Great travel weather until we hit exit 41 on I-79, where there was major traffic jam due to construction according to the sign, but we saw no sign of anyone working.

Lunch was in at Moe's. By noon the temperature was 10C. and it was really nice outside.

One of the fun things about a road trip is listening to the radio. Today's featured song was All Kinds of Kinds which coincidentally was the song for the Song-ography challenge a couple of weeks ago.

Pulled into our reserved hotel around 4:15 in Fort Chiswell VA.


Unfortunately unlike last night there isn't anything but fast food close by. So we got some beer and ordered a pizza from Papa John's for dinner.
