We got on the road after breakfast at 10AM and it was a nippy 5C as it was overcast and damp.
There were runaway truck lanes every mile or so for about five miles along I-77.
Today's goal is Columbia South Carolina which is really only a four hour drive.

We had to make a stop in Stateside at JRs for cigars.
Lunch at Cracker Barrel.
Then some retail therapy at the mall. John bought a casual jacket for with jeans and I picked up four tops in Belk's.
Got back into the car and check out the temperature!
We got to our hotel in Columbia South Carolina's historic district around 4PM. We decided to walk around town.
Downtown was settling up for the Vista of Lights and the lighting of the Christmas tree.
We made reservations at an Italian restaurant across the street from the hotel.
