Week's Favorite
Family
The first two will be the same, except we’ll work our way through the alphabet. The second can be a favorite image or activity from the week. The third will be different each time.
Friday Finds ABC Wednesday
Letter S - I'm going to try to find cities/towns we've visited as the theme. I will exclude Canada and the US from this round.
I will keep a running list at the bottom of the Friday post.
Singapore - is a city-state in Southeast Asia. Founded as a British trading colony in 1819, since independence it has become one of the world's most prosperous countries and boasts the world's busiest port.
Combining the skyscrapers and subways of a modern, affluent city with a medley of Chinese, Malay and Indian influences and a tropical climate, with tasty food, good shopping and a vibrant night-life scene, this Garden City makes a great stopover or springboard into the region.

Impossible to capture this city in a few photos! So I will stick with this amazing skyscraper!
Week's Favourite - a craft show at Union Station. My two favourite flower colours!
Family - we had a family dinner last week.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed that Singapore skyline Jackie. A classic shot - brought back memories for me :)
ReplyDeleteWow, what an amazing building. Such interesting architecture - I don't think I've even seen a picture of that one before. It almost looks like a ship on top of the building. The green and white bouquet is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSingapore looks like a pretty town. I've not been there and probaby never will. Unless a kid or grandkid moves there. The white and green would make a nice table decoration. Looks like 10 plus there. Cozy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for peeking in and for the nice comment.

Singapore looks so modern! You've really shown me so many new places that look like they would be wonderful to visit. The flowers are quite lovely. Looks like you had a great family gathering as well. Thanks so much for joining Friday's Hunt. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThat skyscraper is quite impressive!
ReplyDeleteSuch unusual architecture in Singapore. Those are pretty flowers. Glad you had some family time, too.
