How I wish I was seated there right now for an afternoon coffee and pastry- an inspiring post!
ReplyDeleteI love baklava, even if I can't spell it right! When I lived in San Fran., I would stop everyday down the street before coming home from school and get a piece. That's probably how I gained all my weight! {:-D
ReplyDeleteMy cousin married a man form Greece. He sent us a box of there Baklava once. Nothing like what we get at the bakeries here. Delicious.
ReplyDeletesweet cake and coffee...perfect for a short break after touring this beautiful city :-) Dropping by from Food Trip Friday.
ReplyDeleteI could use a coffee break like that right about... now. Lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law is Greek. she used to make the most amazing dishes. she doesn't cook much right now due to ill health. her mother would send pails of olives from their trees . And the olive oil , you can't find anything like it here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place. I would probably sit there all afternoon, happily sipping coffee and munching on pastries.
ReplyDeleteThat coffee and baklava would be so so nice about this time of day..
