Mazatlan Market

We went into town yesterday and went to the Mercado or market, Jose Maria Pino Suarez located i the Centro part of town just two blocks away from the Cathedral.

 I love these markets, no shrink wrap, no Styrofoam just lots of fresh produce.

 But first...a new portrait of us...I got a little pink in the sun!

    Hmmm... I think I could skip the butcher's shop. But the rest of it looks fantastic! I love markets. :)

    Every city in Spain has one (or more) of these, plus a big outdoors market once a week. Always fun places to visit!

    In Mexico City I seem to remember there were 4 big markets... one of them known unofficially as the "Mercado de las Brujas" (Witches' Market) where you could find anything in the herbs department, either for cooking or for something else... ;o)
